Waterproof and Water-Resistant

 

All the devices that were getting repaired will not be waterproof. We always put water-resistant adhesive after servicing your device. However, we cannot guarantee that it will be up to factory waterproof/water-resistant standards. Therefore, we cannot cover under warranty for any water damage.

  • Factory waterproof/water-resistant seal was broken when the device was cracked due to the unstable/bent frame/housing.

  • Factory waterproof/water-resistant seal will be broken if the device is getting hardware services and that seal cannot be restored.

Damaged Middle Frame/Housing

 

The middle frame/housing is the part that holds the screen and the back glass or back cover. Since the new replacement screen, display, back glass, or back cover is always straight, if the middle frame/housing is dented, bent, broken or twisted, the replacement components will make a gap when fitting them in. For bend-able middle frame/housing, we will try our best to straighten them back or do panel beating, but it cannot be perfect. In case the repaired component could not be fitted or lifted after the repair, you might need to change the middle frame/housing. If the repaired component is lifted off from the screen, please bring it back to the store to be serviced as soon as possible as we will not hold any responsibility for the damaged parts that were caused by a damaged middle frame/housing.

Mainboard Service

 

Mainboard repair is involved in the repairing process when replacing a device’s components did not solve the issues. Hence, mainboard repair is the last solution to repair your device. Please acknowledge there is a risk for mainboard repairs that the phone might have other issues or might not turn on if the operation is failed since most of the routes on the mainboard are linked together. We will also try to keep your data; however, sometimes, we need to do a ‘factory reset' your device to make it work. For the repairs, we will try to make your phone back to the working state, not to the perfect condition. The risk percentage depends on the model and the problem of your device. The higher model, the higher risk. The more complicated the issues, the higher risk. We only proceed with the mainboard repair when you are aware of this.

 

Important Message for iPhone Service

A message will pop up after you have a phone part replaced on some iPhone to notify you that it had been replaced and the phone could not verify that was an Apple product. The replaced components for your device are the same quality as the genuine parts and we have the warranty cover for the replacement parts (Terms and Conditions apply). The notification will appear every time the device is restarted (will have this for up to 15 days for updated iOS). A message "An Unkown Part" or "Unable to verify Apple Product" will stay in the Settings. Sometimes, due to software issues, this message also appears without changing any parts. You can ignore this as it will not affect the functionality of the device. Please contact an Authorized Apple Service Center if you do not want this message to appear on your device. We only proceed with the battery replacement when you are aware of this.

  • Important Display Message will appear after the touch or the display had been changed on the following devices:
    iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro, iPhone 11 Pro Max
    iPhone 12, iPhone 12 Mini, iPhone 12 Pro, iPhone 12 Pro Max
    iPhone 13, iPhone 13 Mini, iPhone 13 Pro, iPhone 13 Pro Max

  • Glass-only replacement will not cause this message to appear. However, if the glass was badly broken, we might need to change the touch during the process and this message will appear.

Paint Peel Off on Samsung Phones

We are using heat and/or a special liquid to disassemble the device. For some of the devices, especially Samsung phones, the glass and the back glass has a layer of paint on them. Using heat/liquid sometimes melts down the paint layer. If you want to get rid of the peeled-off paint, please consider changing the glass/back glass as we will not cover if the paint was peeled off during the service. The following models are known to have this issue the most:

  • Samsung Galaxy Note 3, Samsung Galaxy Note 4 Samsung Galaxy Note 5

  • Samsung Galaxy S5, Samsung Galaxy S6, Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge, Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge Plus

  • Samsung Galaxy S7, Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge
